Staff Appreciation Week
Teaching is often a thankless job. There is never enough time or patience or resources for them to do everything they want to do. Teachers often have overpopulated and underfunded classrooms. Many of them subsidize their classrooms with their own personal money. They're required to continue their higher education, but often aren't sufficiently compensated to do so.
The support staff in a school are also frequently overlooked. It takes a lot to keep a school running. Many people work hard behind the scenes to make a school flow as seamlessly as it does. It's truly a team effort.
Staff/Teacher Appreciation week is an annual reminder for us parents to show our gratitude to our schools for helping to shape the tiny humans in our lives. These people are literally building our future as a community. We are truly thankful!
