The mission of the PTO is to support the students and staff of Davey Elementary School through volunteer and fundraising efforts that will improve the quality of every child’s education and welfare.

Back to School!
Welcome back to school to our Davey families and staff! The first full day of school is August 20, 2025. Class lists are posted on the cafeteria doors now. Come meet your teacher and drop off your supplies on Monday. During your visit, stop by our PTO table to learn about your Parent-Teacher Organization and our plans for the year. We will also have a playground update and renderings as well!

You’re not going to have time to cook, when you have to be at supply night by 5:00. Proceeds go to Davey Elementary School.

Playground Update
The Playground Committee has been busy this last quarter of 2025! During this time, we have:
Planned and executed a 5K and fun run Fundraiser at Fred Fuller Park on May 17th and obtained several new grants and donations!
Netted more than $8,500 from the Miles to Smiles 5K Fundraiser!
Total Raised: $194,666.07
Only $102,490 left to go!

Meetings:
PTO meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year at 6:00pm. Meetings are typically held in the Davey library. Every Davey Elementary School parent/guardian and staff member are automatically voting members, and we love new faces and new ideas!
Roberts’ Rules of Order Revised & Simplified shall govern this Association when applicable and desirable and when they are not in conflict with the Davey Elementary School PTO bylaws. Meetings are open to the public.
